Cantonment Board, Wellington invites applications from eligible candidates for filling up the post of Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Electrical Lineman, Pipe Fitter, Mazdoors and Safaiwalas on permanent basis. The Last date of receipt of applications is 16th August 2016.

Age Limit: 18 to 25 Years as on 1st July 2016. Age Relaxation - 03 Years for OBC, 05 Years for SC.
Educational Qualifications:
LDC -> Matric with +2 (HSC passed) or equivalent from a recognized Board or University and should pass Typewriting test with a speed of minimum 35 words per minute, in English, on computer. Computer knowledge - MS Office or equivalent.
Electrical Lineman -> 10th std pass with ITI Electrician Trade Certificate from a recognized Government Institution. Must be a holder of 'B' Licence from TNEB.
Pipe Fitter -> Xth std (Matric) pass with ITI Plumber Trade Certificate from a recognized Government Institution.
Mazdoors -> ITI Trade Certificate in Wireman/ Fitter/ carpenter / Plumber/ Electrician course from a recognized Government Institution.
Safaiwalas -> VIIIth Std Pass/ Fail Must be literate in the local language. Should be able to do cleaning and drain work.
Selection Process: For LDC / ITI Trades Posts - The selection will be based on Skill test and Written test. For Safaiwalas - The selection process will be only through Skill test which will comprise of cleaning of toilets (no manual scavenging), clearing of bushes, segregation of garbage, cleaning of drainage etc. No interview will be conducted for any post.
Application Fee: ₹ 100/- for General and OBC Category Candidates. The fee can be made only through Demand Draft (DD) issued by any Nationalised Bank (OR) Postal Order drawn in favour of the Chief Executive Officer, Cantonment Board, Wellington payable at Coonoor, which should be enclosed with the application form. The candidates belonging to SC/ ST / Physically handicapped are exempted from payment of fee.
How to Apply: Interested candidates may send their applications (prescribed format) along with self-attested Xerox copies of documents like caste certificate, qualification certificate, certificate/proof of date of birth should be reach to "THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, CANTONMENT BOARD, WELLINGTON, THE NILGIRIS - 643 232, TAMILNADU" on or before 16/08/2016. Separate application has to be sent for each post. Two self-addressed stamped envelopes of size 25 cms x 11 cms and one acknowledgement card with name and postal address neatly written should be attached with the application form.
