Coast Guard Region North West Recruitment 2016 Electrical Fitter, Motor Transport Driver

Headquarters Coast Guard Region (North West), PO Box No. 09, Sector 11, Gandhinagar-382010 invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Electrical Fitter and Motor Transport Driver. Eligible candidates apply within 45 days from the date of publication in Employment News Paper (13 - 19 August 2016 Issue).

Electrical Fitter	02	(a) Matriculation or equivalent. (b) Should have successfully completed apprenticeship from a recognised/reputed workshop in the relevant trade under Apprentice Act 1961  or under any other recognised Apprenticeship Scheme. (OR) Should have completed training course in the relevant trade from an ITI recognised for this purpose and have 01 year trade experience. (c) Should qualify a trade entrance examination.
Motor Transport Driver(Ordinary Grade) (Group 'C' Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial)	01	(a) Matriculation or equivalent. (b) Must possess valid driving licence for both heavy and light motor vehicles. (c) Should have atleast two years experience in driving motor vehicles. (d) Knowledge of Motor Mechanism (should be able to remove minor defects in vehicles).

Selection Process: Written test will be of Objective type (Maximum marks 50). The candidates passed in the written test will be called for trade test, as applicable. The pass marks will be 50% for UR (General)/OBC category and 45% for SC/ST candidates in written test. However, the skill/ physical tests will only be qualifying in nature with no bearing on the overall merit.
