South East Central Railway, Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh State) invites applications from the eligible and meritorious Scouts & Guides candidates for filling up 08 Vacancies against Scouts & Guides quota 2016-17. The closing date for receipt of applications is 6th September 2016.

Educational Qualification:
For Posts in PB-1 ₹ 5200-20200/- with corresponding Grade Pay ₹ 1900/- -> 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate. (50% marks is not to be insisted upon in case of ST/SC/Ex-Serviceman and for candidates who possess higher qualifications such as Graduation/Post Graduation etc.) (or) Act Apprenticeship / ITI. No other qualification including Diploma in Engineering will be accepted as an alternative qualification.
For Posts in PB-1 ₹ 5200-20200/- with corresponding Grade Pay ₹ 1800/- -> Minimum 10th (Matriculation) pass or ITI or equivalent.
Scouting / Guiding Qualifications:
(1) A President Scout/ Guide/ Rover/ Ranger OR Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB) holder in any section.
(2) Should have been active member of Scouts Organization for the last five years. The 'Certificate of Activeness'.
(3) Should have attended two events at National Level or All Indian Railways Level AND two events at State Level.
Selection Process: Written Examination, Scouting Skill Assessment and Marks on certificates.
Application Fee: ₹ 250/- for C/ST communities, Women, Ex-serviceman, Minorities {Muslim, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists and Zorastrians (Parsis)}, Persons With Disabilities, and those belonging to economically backward classes Candidates; ₹ 500/- for all others (General) Candidates. The fee is Payable through Prescribed Bank Challan on State Bank of India, Main Branch, Bilaspur (C.G.) {Branch Code No.: 0336} against Railway Recruitment Cell/ SECR/ Bilaspur's Account No. 33344526197 through any Branch of State Bank of India.
How to Apply: Application in the prescribed format. The duly filled application along with all enclosures reach to ASSISTANT PERSONNEL OFFICER (RECRUITMENT), RAILWAY RECRUITMENT CELL, R.T.S. COLONY, NEAR KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA, S.E.C. RAILWAY, BILASPUR-495 004, CHHATTISGARH by Ordinary Post or should be dropped in the box provided at the Office of Chairman, Railway Recruitment Cell(RRC), R.T.S. Colony, Near Kendriya Vidyalaya, Bilaspur. The last date for receipt of applications is 22/08/2016 (Extended up to 06/09/2016) up to 18:00 Hours.
A candidate may apply both for the posts in PB-1 ₹ 5200-20200/- with Grade Pay ₹ 1900/- and for posts in PB-1 ₹ 5200-20200/- with Grade Pay ₹ 1800/-. However the applications for different categories should be placed in separate envelopes. The envelope containing the application should be clearly superscribed "Employment Notice No. P-HQ/RRC/762/2016-17 for Recruitment against Scouts & Guides Quota over South East Central Railway" mentioning the group/Grade Pay for which applying and the name of the Division/HQ.
