Educational Qualification and Eligibility:
(1) Second Class in Shastri or an equivalent traditional Sanskrit examination with Sanskrit medium having minimum 48% marks and Shiksha Shastri/Degree or Diploma in education recognised by National council for Teacher Education.
(2) Minimum 5 years' teaching experience as Senior Teacher.
(3) Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagari Script and knowledge of Rajasthani Culture.
Selection Process: Competitive Examination
Scheme of Exam:
(1) The competitive examination shall carry 600 marks.
(2) There will be two Papers (Paper-I General Studies, Paper-II General awareness about education and educational administration). Both the Papers shall be of 300 marks each. Duration of both Papers shall be 3 hours each.
(3) All the questions in both the Papers shall be multiple choice type questions.
(4) Negative marking shall be applicable in the evaluation of answers. For every wrong answer, one-third of marks prescribed for that particular question can be deducted.

Senior Teacher (Social Science) -> Graduate or equivalent examination with at least two subjects out of the subjects - History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Public Administration and Philosophy as optional subjects and Degree or Diploma in education recognized by Government of Rajasthan.
Additional Eligibility: Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagari Script and knowledge of Rajasthani Culture.
